Default Adding memory

hi i just bought to day some 512mb pc3200 and i know it is going too be underclocked and stuff but what i would like to know is where can i see if the memory is working and stuff in total i will have 1gb.

The memory will be underclocked to PC-2700, also to make sure that you run memtest86 to make sure it works 100%.

and how can i do thta memtest86 doesnt it do it auto the memory test when you star up.

i think u dl memtest86 from its site, load it on a clean floppy, and set bios' boot sequence to floppy only

Yeah but memtest86 is more extensive, it checks it completely.

And also you really wont notice a difference on the speed when the stick of 3200 gets underclocked to 2700, because your FSB only runs at 333mhz.

oh i know that and stuff but im spent $54 dollars then wasting $79 on pc2700 so i know that.
