I was just wondering how accurate it appears to be? I recently purchased a new ASUS motherboard to supplant my old one, however, my CPU temperatures have been noticeably higher, even after I cleaned off and applied a new layer of thermal paste.
As far as I'm concerned, my old motherboard read the CPU temperature from the socket, however, I've read that the PC Probe reads it directly from the internal diode itself. Anyone want to clarify this? (referring to Athlon XP processors, by the way)
