Default Access Denied on slave drive

Okay so I'm trying to back up all of the images from the slave drive which used to be a primary drive from another computer but it had a virus and I couldn't deal with the virus without the proper tools so I took it home and cleaned it up. The only problem now is that Windows is asking for it to activate and won't allow to log on to the computer if I try to back it up with that as a primary. So now I have a as a secondary and trying to access the administrator account which is the only account that's protected.

Is there a way to bruteforce my way into the folder?

trying to back up secondary
secondary used to be primary on another system
i'm able to access drive except for the administrators folders which is vital
if i set up as primary with only that drive windows asks to activate can't get passed that
can't log into it
when i try to activate can't, so not bothering with that

You need to take ownership of the folder, for instructions see this link.

assuming you're using xp btw
