Abit NF7V2.0 flashed with wrong bios

A friend of mine decided to update his bios to newer version, he assumed it was a Abit NF7V and now is stuck with a board which now wont boot up :freak: .

Now the fool has asked for my help, I have the same motherboard but I cannot find any information in my manual.

Is there anyway of recovering bios without having to buy a new reprogrammed chip or sending it for repairs?

Well could you just download a bios update boot disk or something like that, and just re-flash it at boot?

im not entirly sure, but if Bell or anyone else can tell exactly, it be appreciated, id like to know as well.

Thanks for the useful advice again. It seems I'll have to do the hot swap as he hasnt got allot of cash to waste.

I'll do a bit of research before I start though, as it sounds pretty dangerous working on it whilst its turned on.
