well i just got my self a new A64 3500 venice core, and im pretty new to all this HT, and different settings for this cpu. one thing i notice is that when i run NTune to see my memory bus it says its running at 336, but i have Kingston DDR400, another thing i would like to know is what does the HT link multiplier do?

The LDT multi or HTT link multi is the value your FSB is multiplied by to obtain the HTT speed, when overclocking it should be turned down to 4x or 3x since you should not increase the HTT speed past 1GHz as it creates stability problems.

ok i see, do why is my FSB or bus speed only 336, also whats does the HTT multiply into? also how does it determine the clock speed since its running at 2.2 Gigs? even tho the memory is at 336, since 168X11= 1848?
