Default 9800 XT vs 6600GT?

Which one should I get and why? Thanks!

well the 9800XT I believe is somewhere around 400mhz/730mhz... with 8 pipelines and the 6600GT is 500mhz/1000mhz with also 8 pipelines. I would go with the 6600GT. Get Leadtek or eVGA 6600GT.

Yes, ATI is 2.0 Pixelshader as to the 6600GTs 3.0 Pixelshader. The eVGA 6600GT is a way better card Rawmaterial..

6600GT is way bettter

Even though the XT has more memory bandwidth ((730*(256\8) vs ((500*(128\8)

how does a card have more bandwidth and still be lossed? for instince in our case the 6600 gt has less memory but out performs the 9800 xt?

dude, 6600GT and 9800XT, there is not even a fair competition there.... the 6600GT is cheaper and way better.... Radeon's suck....

you're comparing a new-gen card to a last-gen card. of course the 6600gt is a better card.
