Default 8x DVD BURNER

what 8x dvd burner do u think is good to get im thinking about pioneer.

Pioneer should be fine. Just be sure to get a dual format (both + and -) burner.

Maybe get a sony dual layer dvd burner.

You should get your cd based drive products from LITE-ON, great products.

I would wait for better dual layer drives before buying one, probably expensive at the moment.

i seen a dual layre burner today for $200.00. its a Sony dual format.

Wait for the dual layer burners, I think that Sony is coming out with a nice one.

Also, get one that burns and reads every format +/- +/- RW and DVD RAM. Some brands are better than others and more reliable in some models. Check for reviews on the net (ANANDTECH and TOMSHARDWARE etc...) I have the LG Super multi drive 8081b and love it
