7900GS and 7950GT

Just found it, not sure how many of you have read it already

I read about the 7900GS on Hardocp. I dont' care too much about computer hardware anymore. All I know is that my AGP 6800GT can run anything right now very well, and that's all I care about.

The 6800 series was a great series and has lasted a heck of a long time. Its going to start to see its limits next year I'm thinking, even for normal 1024x768 gameplay.

I'm watching this one and the 7950GT closely. Does anybody know if you must have an SLI-compliant PSU to use SLI?

I was thinking 2 7900GSs would be a heck of a deal.

So... what, the 7900 GS is a higher end 7900 GT, or a lower end version?

And I assume the 7950GT is just a cheaper 7950GTX?

(link won't load for me, for some reason)

The 7900GS is essentially a 7900GT and the 7950GT is essentially a 7900GTX. They are basically making it a lot cheaper to get current high end hardware.

hmm, it works on my end

About the 6800GT finding its limits, I found I have to upgrade becuase it seems really sluggish with Company of heroes (COH) witch is in beta right now. Also with bf2 it can have its week spots but it usualy performs really well.
