First of all, let's just say that this is all PCI-EXPRESS

NO AGP

Okay, so here's my new planned system; I downgraded it because I realized that money doesn't really grow on trees . . .

ThermalTake VA3000 Dream Tower Black

Antec Neopower 480W

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Winchester S939

Asus nForce4 A8N-SLI Deluxe

Maxtor Maxline 300GB SATAII

NEC 16x DVD+R w/ 4x DL

Corsair PC-3200 1GB

Samsung or LG Multifunction LCD (I'm waiting until people review the LG one)

Now, as you can see, there's no video card in that list . . . because I can't really choose . . .

There's the 6600GT, $200, with 8 pixel pipelines, 128-bit

Then there'es the 6800 Regular, hasn't come out yet, 12 pixel pipelines

Then there's the 6800GT, $4-500, 16 pixel pipelines

I can't really choose between the 3 . . .

I want to play games such as

Half Life 2

CS:Source (the one i will play the most)

MS Fligth Sim

Halo/Halo 2 for PC

Which one would work with my setup and deliver good gameplay for those games?

I'd definately say 6800GT. It is the most future proof card, and can max out Doom 3 with no slowdown at all. The regular 6800 is a waste of money IMO. The 6600GT is good, and will give you performance similar to that of an X800 Pro. You might also consider the ATI X700 pro. It is quite competition to the 6600GT...especially in HL2.

6800 GT, best value for the punch. Better punch for the value :p

Yeah I think that is the way I would go...maybe because I did go that way :D .
