isn't there a way to put the capacitor back on if it fell off???
A friend of mine had a similar problem with a tv card and he just hooked it up anyway and I'm not exactly sure what happened but his whole computer got screwed and the store he got it from replaced the whole computer with a slightly better one and installed a new card in the computer for free.
