Default 6600GT worth it over the 6600?

Is the GT really that much better then the 6600? if so why? and would the 6600 be able to run all the next-gen games?

Core and Memory clock are underclocked. Avg 6600 350/550 and the GT 500/1000

I also think the regular 6600 only has 4 pipes? Correct me if I'm wrong.

It is worth it, the 6600 GT id s huge step ahead of the 6600. When shopping Nvidia, try to avoid cards with numbers without suffixes, i.e. 6600, 6800.

ah k, i thought there was something, i was just looking at the nvidia site and i couldnt find the specs for the 6600, thats why i asked.

Is Gigabyte ok or should i go with the asus version, these are the only two brands of this card i can get cheap.
