Wow, they must have come out with that recently then. Thats definately the way to go, modern games like BF2 really take advantage of 256MB.

I would go with the 6800GT. In fact, I did. My pc is in parts in FedEx boxes right now. Trust me, I've been planning this PC for about 9 months now and I've changed every component at least 50 times (except the case!) and money is definitely a concern of mine, too. I decided on the 6800GT over the 6600GT for a couple reasons. Mainly because the 6800GT will last siginificantly longer than the 6600GT. May as well bite the bullet now and enjoy the extra performance while you can. When the 6600GT would bite the dust, you'll just have to turn off the extreme eye-candy on the 6800GT.

Yes, but no sprinkles. For every sprinkle i find, i shall KILL you.

Yea, I think im gonna stick with the 6800GT mianly on the basis of longer lasting ; and that extra performance can't hurt anything (exept the budget ) The Card i picked (for now) is the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130215
Is the 256 to 128mb difference noticable or would I be better to save a few bucks and go with a 128? Any Suggestions on a 128mb PCI-E x16?

Well about the games it's a good point. I play a lot of Counter-Strike and Operation Flash Point.
