5GHz+, random question

I can't remember what game it was, I'm thinking it was the original Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator. When it was a new game I think I had a 450MHz Celeron with 8MB of EDO ram and a Nvidia TNT video card. I tried playing it with a AMD X2 4800+, 1GB DDR 400, ATI X800XT and it was like strapping your Granny into a Top-Fuel Funny Car. Older games were very cpu intensive, 3D video cards were a new thing and they only did a small part of the work.

the next step for the coding now are things like 64bit which can use up to 128gb of ram, which won't be seen for an insanely long time
lol, it's a lot more than 128GB :p The 128GB limitation is 64-bit desktop Windows only.
