the 5700le is considerably worse in terms of performace than a normal 5700 right?

it goes

Don't get the FX 5700, especially the LE version. Get the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.

i did, and i was getting terrible performance for what i paid. It was either defective or in conflict with something. After that experience i am shying away from ati as much as possible.
