The future for AGP doesnt look good. The 512 MB model may have AGP, not really sure. After that though there wont by many, if any, AGP cards out there. The bus is just to tight for the graphical demands we need these days. PCI-E is the way to go. Hint to any system builders out there, dont buy an AGP motherboard, it will be out dated befor you know it.

About the 512 MB card, it looks WAY too expensive to be practical.
Dude all these cards, even the X850XTPE 256mb are too expensive for practicality

Hint to any system builders out there, dont buy an AGP motherboard, it will be out dated befor you know it.
I'd say you have atleast a year if not more...with a good CPU and 1gb of even valueRAM a high end AGP card will still last for 1-2 years before it starts becoming like a Gf4 today
