50 GIGS are missing on my HD

I have a 160 gig hd and it only shows as 150, thats ok. Now it only shows 80 gigs left. I checked my C drive and with all the programs, mp3, movies added, its only suppose to around 10 gigs. so 40 - 50 are just missing.

I have written some software that will allow you to see all the sizes of your directories right in windows. This should allow you to narrow down what folders are taking up too much space. Check it out at http://www.test1software.com

Also you can look into showing your hidden/system files and you may find some old versions on the recyclebin sitting in the root of you C drive or something....

Hold down windows key + R - get into the run menu and type in "diskmgmt.msc" without the quotes and select your Hard Drive there, hopefully you will find it there and it will probably be unformatted and unused or something.
