I was doing some thinking, while reading a A+ Core Hardware prep book I came across something that said the watts on the PCI bus should never go over 400 watts. Yet the lable on the 7800 series boxes say that you should have a 450 minimum power supply and 500 for sli mode.
Why is this if the pci bus cannot accept over 400 watts?
