Default 3DMark vs PCMark

Seems to me that 3DMark is the overwhelming favorite around here.
I know many of you are gamers, but is 3DMark a better program, or did it just happen that everyone here uses it only to compare to eachothers system

I started using PCMark04 and it works for me
My top is 5373 if anyone cares

Well the all 'work'.....3dmark is just more familiar and has 01, 03, and 05 so it's a more variety of tests....some places like pimprig use 3dmark, pcmark, superPI and others as a combo

I really never got around to trying PC Mark (though I do have Aquamark). I like 3dMark because of its multiple versions, like Nubius pointed out. It allows you to test how older, current, and future games will run on a given PC (01 03 and 05 respectively).
