2nd HD

Hey guys currently I have an 80gig HD in my system. I'm wanting to add a second HD mainly for running my games. I'm wondering what do you guys reccommend and what all will I need to install a 2nd HD.

Ok is that all i need to do is buy another 80gig HD. What will I need as far as hooking it up? This is my first time adding a 2nd HD so I'm not exactly sure what to do?

As long as the IDE cable that you have had an open slot, just screws to mount it and an open 4-pin molex connector.

If your Motherboard supports SATA and your interested in fast access times, then take a look at the Western Digital Raptor drive.

It has a smallish capacity and is expensive for the size, but at 10k RPM its nice and speedy.

If your motherboard does not support SATA, stick with what the others said.

Either a Maxtor Diamondmax or a Seagate Barracuda, both give good performance for their price.
