Default 256MB DDR NVIDIA(R) GeForce FX(TM) 5950 Ultra

is this graphics card good and can it out do a radeon 9800?

I don't think it can out do a radieon but it could be equal not to sure thought.

I think the Radeon will be it but if yuor going to spend that much money wait for the 6800

when the 6800 comes out (a few days after so it "settles in") compare its price to the 9800 XT
get the least expensive one

I've seen benchmarks for the 6800 (I know it's not out yet but I think the company got it early from the manufacturer to give a review) and it did better than double the 9800's score. I forget which 9800 it was, but with that much of a difference I don't think the exact model will matter much. Hope that helped.
