so your usign it as a tv right? if so go 720p and enjoy the contrast, @ 2000 black is gonna be gray, and your room will light up like a lighthouse.

no dude... it depends on the brand.. in fact LG's look really good at 2000:1. It won't look as good as a xbr6/750/850/950 but it will still look good.

eaxly and the 720p image out does the noname @ 1080p. im betting the lg will have a nicer picture 3x over.

always the best idea, most people see 1080p and are like omg, but you dont want a 1080p black and white tv lol.
