Default 2 computers 1 screen

what do i have to purchase for the ability to run

2 computers on 1 screen

Majority of the time only 1 computer will use the screen

are th ey really that cheap? i was looking for one and alls i could find was 500-1000 dollar ones perhaps i'm looking at the wrong ones...got a link?

u can find KVM switches even cheaper on ebay

you need to make sure of 2 things when you buy a kvm

1) it has external power
2) it has support for the resolution you're going to use

lol no really its very rare to come across a scammer- and even if you do, most likely other people have come across them and give them bad feedback. all you have to do is see what other people have said about the seller, and you can see how reliable they are!
