2 comps, 1 monitor

Hey,
I am gonna have two computers soon, but i only have one monitor, and i dont want to/cant afford a new one. Does anyone know how to set up two computers to the same monitor, without physically unplugging the monitor from the computer. Are there any switches or the like out there that can do this?

KVM switch will allow you to use your mouse keyboard and monitor for the 2 comp's.

$44 seems a little expensive. Would a cheaper one work just a well?
