I have a 2.5" 60Gb Toshiba notebook drive that I pulled from a Laptop that died on me. The model is MK6021GAS, I bought an external case for it that cam with two USB wires. One is a round mini power plug, the other is a mini USB plug.
The controller chip plugs into Pins 1-44 and there are 4 pins that don't connect to the controller, these are for jumpers.
There is a light on the controller chip that is red when the wires are first connected to the controller/HDD, after
The light turns green after 40-45 seconds it is plugged in. I don't feel the HD spin op or anything. It also never shows up on my XP Pro box.
Does anyone know if I need to do something with the Jumpers?
I attached a file that has a lot of info on the drive.

Thanks a lot for any help. I've been trying for a long time to get this working.
