xfx geforce 6600 problem

I just got an xfx geforce 6600 256mb ddr and it was working fine untill I restarted then it went to a blank screen and then I rebooted it about 3 more times and then it stopped at a blank screen all 3 times for about 1 minute except the 3rd time it was there for about 30 seconds!!!

Did you buy it new? XfX are famous for going nuclear right out of the box!!! I hope you have the sales tag. You will need to RMA that card. If you bought it used....ouch!!!!!!

I got it at tigerdirect for $120.00 or something like that!!!

If you read these forums, XFX is known for DOA components. you will need to call XFX or Tigerdirect.com and RMA the card.

DOA= Dead On Arival

RMA= Return Merchandise Authorization
rma just meas to return it

after returning that one i would buy a 6600gt its only $10-20 more
