x-fi help?

i just got the x-fi xtrememusic card and installed everything when i do the first time setup everything is ok then i do the speaker test and the front center and sub dont work (x-350) speakers i know for shure that my speakers are ok. has anyone hade this problem? could the 3rd line out just be broken? it shouw that its puting sound out of them but theres nothing coming out.

that just means it is utilizing surround sound correctly.
in surround sound, only 2 of the speakers are used for "general" sounds. the rest are used only when running programs specifically designed for utilizing surround sound.
