There was some sort of powersurge any my desktop got a little screwy. I pulled the ram and reset the cmos and everything was fine except my secondary hard drive and my dvd rom. Both of which are hooked up thru IDE cables. I replaced the cable but that didnt help. The computer wont recognize them at all Even when get into setup during startup. Theres power to both and the dvd rom opens and closes and the hard drive is spinning. Theres only one IDE port on my motherboard so i cant switch it to another. Any ideas?
