Won't boot to XP

I just installed a new motherboard, processor and power supply into a new case. I am using the hard drive from my previous computer that was working fine.

Now the computer boots up but then goes to the screen that gives me the option to boot with either safe mode, last known good conf. or normally... any option I select simpe resets my system

I resetted BIOS but that didn't fix the issue... I tried disconnecting the optical drive and floppy, removed all PCI cards (AGP is empty), video built in.


What do you think could be wrong?

Different chipsets. Reinstall your operating system.

yep format reinstall then reactivate!
