Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Does Not Connect

Hello,

I just moved my computer from one room to another and now my wireless mouse and keyboard does not work. This is what I have troubleshot:

-Changed to fresh batteries

-Followed directions on the mouse and keyboard about sync'ing the mouse/keyboard to the receiver

-Changed the USB ports of the receiver

-Reinstalled the drivers

Any other troubleshooting things I shoudl do ? Thanks.

Hello,

I figured out the problem...sorta strange, I just installed it on a new machine to ensure that everything worked, then I tried different USB ports. Found out that it must be on a USB port from the motherboard, not from the PCI.

Are you using normal or re-chargable batteries????

My experience has been that re-chargable batties for some reason does not seem to work well with Cordless Keyboard and Mouse sets.

Hello, I am using rechargeable, but it seems to work fine, just had to hook up to a USB port that was on the motherboard and not on PCI.
