Default Wipe a dead hard drive

How should I wipe a dead hard drive of all my personal information. I have two dead hard drives that I want to erase. Drive cleaning software probably probably wont work because windows does not recognize either drive.

Take a power drill and drill a hole through the middle of them...that's the first thing that comes to mind.

Why do you want to erase them if they are dead?....

You could always destroy the drives. Take them apart and remove the platters. Then set them near a strong magnet.

Take them apart, put a strong magnet next to the platers. That'll get rid of the info. Then use them as coasters.

Taking Hard drives apart is hella fun.
Throw the platters at people like frisbees.
You can get a couple of really strong magnets from inside the hard drive. Those are always fun.
I like the coaster idea.

One of the best movies of all time...love that movie.

I think the drives will be turned into coasters. After I drill through them.
