I just reformatted windows and all i did was delete the c drive partition, and then install xp on that partition. This was all on a 80 gb hard drive that was formatted into 30gb and 50gb. windows is on the 50gb partition and it works now. But I had a 300gb hard drive before i reformatted which was just for storage, when i reformatted my computer i did not even touch the 300gb drive. But now if i go into xp it will show up as a raw drive as in not formatted. And the 300gb hard drive only shows up as 127gb. But it should show up as two 150gb partitions. If anyone wants me to clarify anything please ask. I really need this data back since its all my pictures and i have homework on there.

my friend had the same problem but he just formatted it and it was fine.... hook it up in another computer, maybe the only way to get your data back..

is it sata??? might have to install the drivers for it.

try search button or read the section on 137g barrier that should help you not alone in this problem hope that helps not trying to be a *****
