windows me quick question

im trying to fix a usb port on someone pc and when i put anythink into it it asks me for ntkern.vxd can i use the win 98 se cd to take the driver as both o/s are quite similar

You can try it......you don't have the ME disk? By-the-way.................................98 SE = good os, XP= Good OS, ME= the worst OS of all time. Get rid of that OS. It is nothing but problems.

i know its muck but she want to keep it for some reason she doesn't
have a clue about computers.

Explore the CD and copy the ntkern.vxd into the system directory... couldn't hurt, so give it a try.
