Why is it shouting at me!? :(

I took the ram sticks out last night to check at what speed they would run before i bought more incase it was too quick and therefore ineffective. However, when i put them back and turned on the PC this morning i now have a beep that goes off every couple of seconds. Simple question WHY? Also how can i stop it? Is it just the sticks weren't put back right?

Try reinserting it. You may have one stick not all the way in.
