Default Where did my stand by go?

Before when i went to standby (yesterday and before than) my computer actually shut off all my fans and such. Now when i go into standby power stops going to my moniter and led blinks but doesnt shut everything down. How can i fix this?

Go to your control panel and click on power options,power Schemes and then enable system standby..

its still goes into gay standby. None of my fans turn off though. Is there something in suspend mode bios i could do.

Don't put your system into standby! Just turn off your comp and that's it. Or just leave it on!

Yeah, I never did understand "standby". Only takes a few extra seconds to turn it off/on, considering you don't have a bazillion processes running.
