Unhappy What's with my disk?

i just re-installed my system and one of my disks doesn't work properly
it doesn't show in explorer and when i look in "Disk Management" this is what i see:

i installed my system on a new disk so fortunately i still have the old system on the old disk
after starting up with the old system the disk seams to work perfectly fine

what's the problem here? what can i do?

E6600 / CONROE865PE / PSU 620W / 2GB / XP PRO SP2 / 120GB+320GB / USB 500GB+250GB / GT6600 256 / Waveterminal192M / Hauppauge WinPRV

the red one is the one i have problems with
i run the exact same system as before the re-installation so i have really no idea what this could be.
the disk works just fine on the other system. tested two more times

did you try using the slot that the 120 is using? maybe the slot that the 320 is using is bad on that mobo.

i changed from secondary slave to primary slave. nothing

the config was like this:
40GB Pmaster - 120GB Pslave
DVD Smaster - 320GB Sslave
and now:
120GB Pmaster - 320GB Pslave
DVD Smaster

i came to one conclusion tho. my 40GB system drive was FAT32
while the new 120GB system drive is NTFS

but this shouldn't matter, should it? i'm really confused here
