What's a good memory utility?

I have a few programs (Photoshop, BF2...) that don't like to give back my system memory after I close them. This usually makes my computer sluggish and I have to restart. What is a good utility to gain back my stolen RAM without having to restart? I've tried a few from download.com but they sucked.

ahhh, i'm trying to remember the name of the program, i think its ramxpro, it will regain lost ram, and if ram is a problem with you......you should go on control panel- performance and maintainence and click system. click the advanced tab and click settings under performance. click advanced and click change, and change the figures in intial size and max size to 1000 and 2000mb respectively
