Whats going on

Okay i uninstalled BF2 from my C drive to move it to my E: drive and do a clean install so i delete the old BF2 file and i reinstall and get the 1.41 patch and install that and everythings good and when i get in game the multiplayer all the games that i used to be able to play back when it was on the C drive with the exact same patch is red meaning i cant join those servers. and when i do try it says you have an older version than the server..... so what do i need to make this work?

Are you sure it patched the version on the E: drive?

yea i resolved the problem on my own. when it patched it didnt patch the right one. so obviously it wont work. i just moved some junk to the E drive and reinstalled on the C drive.. i freed up 20 gigs by deleting steam... FTW.
