Yesterday when I booted my pc up a blue screen came up and said that it was checking my F drive {2nd HD} for consistency.

It only took a few seconds to check, however everytime I boot up I get this now....any ideas?

Any help will be appreciated.

sounds like a bad sector on the hard drive. back up your info onto your other drive, and do a full scan disk fixing any sectors, then reformat it. that should work.

Okay. I have just run the scandisk on the drive and told it to search for and fix any bad sectors. Scan disk went thru 5 stages and said it was finished.

It did not report any errors, but i dont know if it does that or not, anyway, I then rebooted and it booted windows ok, and without running disk check at start up.

I hope this takes care of the problem, and I also hope this is not part of this mobo's problem, with data corruption?

I don't think it's the mobo... I'm pretty sure it's the hard drive. but in doing the scan disk, you fullfilled the OS self requirement for a disk check, so I think your good.
