Here is a good thermal compound, its Arctic Silver 5, $7.00 USB per "tube", don't apply too much though. Newegg.com - Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - Thermal Compound / Grease Also; be sure to clean off the area where the heatsink sits. Rubbing alcohol on a coffee filter seems to work perfectly fine, then just dry it off with a non-static, lint free cloth.
