Default What might this be? - Screen Lines



The monitor does this, then I have to restart.

That's called artifacting. That's when the graphics card fudges up because of overheating or because it's broken.

What kind of card is it? It is definitely a frisbee (maybe)! You'll be needing to buy a new card. However, if you remove the GPU heat sink and apply some new AS5 you might be able to salvage the card if the GPU isn't already fried. It sounds to me like it is getting really hot!!!

Try reinstalling graphics drivers. Is the graphics chip overheating?
