Default What is a good CPU shut-off temp?

I noticed the BIOS setting to shut down the PC if it hits a certain temp. This seems like a great feature in the event your CPU fan would die or something. What's a good temperature to use for shut off?

well prescotts tend to get hot as hell anyway dont they?

I'm not really an intel person, but from what I think I remember is that prescotts get hot in general so maybe 65C maybe 70C at the limit

Thanks, excellent information I'll set it at 70.

And Sprooty, thanks for listing your temps under load. I idle at 40 but hit between 50-60 as well even after purchasing a new heat sink and using some artic silver compound. (This is only in the summer with warmer indoor temps, winter it's never an issue)Was starting to think something was wrong :P
