What could the problem be?

My heavy and very hyper sister was jumping around today and Rammed into the computer Causing it to freeze.

It booted up once but then it wouldn't boot up properly. We'd get strange errors, black screen with Green bars up top, and every so often now we get "windows protection errors" other times it boots up and the colors are back to 8 bit color at 400x800

I'm 99% sure that this isn't for once a problem caused by ME.

any idea what could have been knocked loose to cause this computer to have these issues?

I would try swapping vid cards if you have another one lying around...

Maybe she damaged your HD. Did it fall over?

Well I'm typing this on the Crapbox now so it's ok enough to run and type on and do what we did before it was bumped into.

However we still get Protection errors every few hours.

Diagnostics found nothing wrong with the HD. I thought it was the HD.
My guess is either the motherboard or video card is loose but since everything works ok and we only get protection errors it's not major.

Still, I don't want this thing to suddenly die on us.

We did get Beeps once.

It didn't fall over, I wasn't here when it happend I was upstairs. So I'm not really sure what happend besides Slam into it.
