Default Wet Flash Drive Problem

hello to all

I am having a problem regarding my flash drive..this morning my mother washed my pants and did not noticed that my flash drive is inside its pocket..so now it hardly got wet...and when I tried to plug it to my USB port I noticed that my files are all lost...

Can I still use my Flash Drive and recover my files???

Many free recovery tools here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads38.html
Please note: Flash drives are not the best place to store your sensitive data, they have commonly been known to fault and fail by themselves (there is a lot more on this including storage time)
Best to store important data in at least 2 places (ie a DVD or even on your hard drive)

Thanks for your info kimsland..

but the primary reason why I restore all my files in a flash drive because a flash drive now a days is so much affordable and also rewritable...and it is not bulky..

Flash Drives use a volitle storage method. If the files were lost, the chances of recovery are slim at best to begin with. After something like going through the wash, almsot impossible.

The drive maybe safe to use now, but you wont be able to recover what was already lost.
