Weird problem....

I have a 7800 gt and a 4400x2... when i turn the vertical sync off on the card in counter-strike its like i have a speed hack on.. my clock in counter strike even goes faster. any suggestions???

On topic: Thats the weirdest problem Ive heard of. Is this when you are in game? Like on a server?

yeah this is in game.. the weird part about it is that it doesnt do it in source.... ive tried different drivers and everything... it seems like its doing it more the more i over clock my core like the faster i get !
