i have a 400w powwer supply in my computer, i plug in and setup a second hard dirve (the sata cable is plugged into the right slot on the mobo.)
then i boot y computer and it shuts down just after the asus greeting screen. (before windows starts up)
then i try and againa dn the same thing happen, so i disconnect the second hard drive and boot up and then eveyrthing botts up fine.
then i replug the hdd and try once again with it active and all of a sudden this time it works with no problems.
im happy it now works but am worried about what was happening before and whether it will happen in the future and harm my hard ware.
is it to do with my power supply and its wattage, as i plan to put a second hard drive in my other computer, but that power supply is only 230 w instead of the 400w in this computer.
