weird Power Problem

I have a weird power problem going on.

When I press the power button on my computer it will start up. However, after I shut down the computer, I am unable to turn the computer back on using the on button on the case. I've found that if I toggle the rocker switch on the PSU to off, then turn the toggle switch back on, the power button on the case will allow me to turn on the computer again.

This is a very weird problem. I've checked the wiring, and Power switches, everything checked out. What could be causing this?

How old is the power source?

You should list your system components so the reader has an idea what you are running.
You may be under-powered and the power supply has a problem turning-on. If the power doesn't come-up immediately............ wait a few seconds....... sometimes my P/S does that.
Check your P/S voltages once the system is running. If you find a low voltage reading....... go from there.
