Weird hard drive reading

Ok so I woke up this morning and my computer says it couldnt boot or something and when I restarted when the pc posted it showed that my seagate 55gb hd as "amvdmnnaiosdvijf" (you get the idea). I have a Msi pm8m mobo and I am using rounded ide cables from link depot. I just did a fresh install of windows yesterday.

lol I think I fixed it because of loose ide cable but it read mumbo jumbo. Like SGakoanvos--s=c9bxc. Seriously. Lol
