Vista & GeForce 7900 GT KO

So I just upgraded my OS to Vista Ultimate and it installed fine, but after I put in my password at the login screen all that I get is a bunch of angled lines across my screen. I found that if I logged out and then logged back in it would be fine, but if I started any 3D intensive programs or changed the display settings the screen would change back to the lines. I have downloaded the latest drivers from nVIDIA, but to no avail. Any ideas as to how to correct this?

My setup:
ASUS P5N32 SLI SE Deluxe
Intel Core 2 E6600
Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 (4gb)
evga GeForce 7900 GT KO
(2) Optiquest Q20wb

Try going back to the old drivers that came with the card and see what happens.
