videocard fan too loud

Well, not THAT loud but a soft humming if you will. I want it to be completely silent. Its a nVIdia 6800. Tips?

Well its not an issue of overheating, i know that for sure. So another fan isn't necessary.

IS this card designed operate like this? It really isn't loud to be a bother, I slept while it was on. However I want my computer to have the "silent monster" feel
