Video Problems

Hey Guy's & Gal's,

I have a Nvidia Geforce FX 5700LE that I hooked up to my daughters 19" Digital LCD TV model #SLC195EM8 that we purchased from Wal Mart. I have tried to upgrade the video driver to "175.16_geforce_winxp_32bit
_english_whql.exe" & "XFastest 175.80 XP32.exe" and each time the font appears extremely hazy & unreadable. I have never experienced this before so I am at a loss as to how to procede.

Could someone please tell me what I should do here?

I am using WinXP SP2 fully updated and the default monitor driver.

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP

You want the ClearType Power Toy. Install it and run the Wizard right away. That will clear up the font for you that easily.

Thank you...Downloaded it, Ran it, and it did not fix the issue. I ran the resolution to 1440x900 with 60mhz frequency and it still did not clear up.

Anything else I can try?

Is it conencted to the PC va DVI or HDMI Cable? Have you checked to make sure that the connections are good? I know dumb question but has to be asked at times.

Maybe try running a higher Freq like 75Hz?
